How to Sell What You Love + Close Sales on LinkedIn with Mike Herberts

Listen to Episode 27 of Allergic to Small Talk on Spotify or Apple

As a small business owner, one of the challenges that often comes up is: selling the things that we love to do and provide for the world.

A lot of us start our businesses because we’re great at a certain skillset, we’re passionate about something we do, or we realize we really love to do something that’s outside of a 9-5...and those somethings are monetized in some fashion, such as you really adore plants and gardens and maybe you’ve opened a flower shop, or maybe you binge podcasts so you decide to create a podcast, or maybe you geek out on fixing up your home and you open a handyman/handyperson business.

But when it comes time to sell what we love to do, it can be very confronting and challenging. On this episode , I interview Mike Herberts. Mike is the CEO of Merit Sales System and he teaches his clients how to truly articulate the problem they solve so they can close sales on LinkedIn.

When you can articulate how you solve problems, it makes selling what you love to do all that much easier :)

In this episode, Mike provides a framework to help you articulate the problem you solve (which is one of the keys to helping you help your clients), shares some tips on how to improve your LinkedIn Profile, and sheds lights on some clever ways to get into you connections inboxes on LinkedIn.

As you listen to this episode, think about how you can apply what Mike shares to your networking or business on LinkedIn.
